flydubai marks the UAE’s 46th National Day with several cultural activities at the company’s headquarters, reflecting the achievements, growth and patriotism of the country.

Commenting on the occasion, flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith said: “It’s great to see our colleagues come together to celebrate the achievements of the UAE, which is at the heart of everything we do here at flydubai. As one of the national carriers, we are proud to carry the UAE flag on our aircraft around our network of more than 100 destinations as we aim to represent the values and goals of the nation. The vision and leadership of our country has been key to the UAE’s growth and flydubai remains committed to contributing to its success.”

As part of its role to enhance the economic development of the UAE by creating trade and tourism flows, flydubai at the 2017 Dubai Airshow made a commitment for a US$27 billion order for 225 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to support the growth of its fleet. The airline by the end of the year will have a fleet of 61 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. In addition, there is a pipeline of 70 aircraft due for delivery by 2023.
