flydubai celebrates opening of new flydubai Travel Shop in Al Ain

with partner Al Amaan Travel and Holidays

Monday, July 8, 2013 — flydubai and Al Amaan Travel and Holidays today celebrated the opening of a new flydubai Travel Shop in Al Ain.

Sheikh Musallam Salem Bin Ham, Member of the National Consultative Council and Chairman of Bin Ham Group, Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Musallam Bin Ham, Member of the Federal National Council and Vice Chairman of Bin Ham Group, and Sheikh Mubarak Musallam Bin Ham, CEO of Bin Ham Travel Group, the holding company of Al Amaan Travel and Holidays, were joined by Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai’s CCO, to cut the ribbon at the new outlet located in the city centre area of Al Ain.

The new Travel Shop will enable flydubai passengers to pay for flights, amend existing bookings or pay for ancillaries such as extra legroom or increased baggage allowance. The shop will also offer UAE visa facilitation services.

Sheikh Musallam said: “Bin Ham Travel Group is proud to be the franchise partner of flydubai in Al Ain. The airline is already very popular here and with today’s opening of flydubai’s Shop will be able to provide better services to its customers in the city. We look forward to supporting flydubai in providing quality services to passengers in Al Ain.”

Hamad Obaidalla said: “We continuously look for different ways of providing better and more convenient services to our customers and we are pleased to open our newest Travel Shops in Al Ain. We are grateful to Al Amaan Travel and Holidays for their support and we look forward to welcoming more travellers from Al Ain on board flydubai.”

flydubai will also launch a bus service between the Shop and Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport starting from 15 July 2013. Operating seven times a day to and from Al Ain, tickets are available at flydubai.com for AED 30 each way. Alternatively, they can be bought from the bus driver for AED 40.

The flydubai Travel Shop in Al Ain is located on Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Street, also known as Al Ain Main Street. The Travel Shop opens from 09:00 to 21:00 from Saturday to Thursday. The UAE visa facilitation service operates on the same days from 09:00 to 17:00. The shop is closed on Fridays and public holidays.
