flydubai, Dubai’s pioneering low-cost airline, welcomed its first aircraft of 2012 at its base in Terminal 2 last night.

The Boeing 737-800 NG is the 22nd addition to flydubai’s fleet and incorporates state-of-the-art systems such as the Boeing Sky Interior, ‘Fiber-To-The-Screen®’ (FTTS®’) In-Flight Entertainment system by Lumexis and the Zonal Drying™ System by CTT Systems, which eliminates condensation in the aircraft.

Commenting on the aircraft’s delivery, flydubai’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said: “2012 will be another busy year for flydubai as we continue to invest in growing our fleet, route network, and services. This is the first of seven aircraft due this year, all of which will be instrumental in helping us to connect Dubai with new destinations allowing more people to travel more often.”
