flydubai from Almaty and Shymkent to Dubai

Dubai-based airline announces flight schedule and sale of tickets from Kazakhstan

Dubai-based airline flydubai today announced the flight details for its routes from Dubai to Almaty and Shymkent.

Flights from Almaty will begin on 16 September and operate four times a week, while flights from Shymkent will begin on 19 September and operate twice a week, providing passengers with a convenient travel option to visit Dubai or connect onwards across flydubai’s extensive network.

Commenting on the announcement, Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President Commercial (UAE, EU, ME, CIS) for flydubai said: “We are pleased to announce the flight details for our first two destinations in Kazakhstan. Flights from Almaty and Shymkent represent new opportunities for travel, trade and tourism between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates and both of these routes will be launched with Business Class.”

flydubai has built up a network of 75 destinations across 37 countries, many of which were previously underserved from Dubai, and offers passengers convenient, affordable and reliable travel services to all destinations on its network. Operating from Dubai’s efficient aviation hub at Terminal 2 Dubai International, passengers have the opportunity to travel to over 200 destinations due to the airline’s interline agreements with other carriers.

Committed to providing passengers with more convenience and comfort as they travel, flydubai launched Business Class in October 2013. Business Class is now available on 54 routes. flydubai’s Business Class provides passengers with a priority service on the ground and a more personal flying experience in the air. Customers benefit from a priority check-in service, lounge access and a dedicated 24-hour Business Team to assist with bookings and attend to enquiries throughout their journey. On board, comfortable spacious seats made of Italian leather have a generous recline and a choice of internationally inspired menus and refreshments are served during the flight. flydubai’s award-winning inflight entertainment system, which is also available in Russian, offers over 1,000 hours of entertainment on a high-definition 30cm touchscreen.
