Tips from flydubai for the busy Eid Al Adha travel period

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 13 June 2024: flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, is expecting the airport to be busier than usual over the Eid holiday period. Passengers travelling from Dubai International (DXB) over the coming days can benefit from these travel tips.

  • Make sure their contact details are up to date. Passengers can do this in the Manage Booking section of flydubai.com.
  • Check in online between 48 hours and 75 minutes before the departure time of their flight from Dubai.
  • Remember to check their booking for their baggage allowances. Passengers will find more information on baggage here.
  • Passengers should aim to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before their flight departs. Please note that check-in closes 60 minutes before the departure time of their flight.
  • Passengers can also save time at the airport by using one of our new self-service kiosks in Terminal 2, where they can print their baggage tag and complete check-in (if they have not completed online check-in already) up to 75 minutes before their flight then go directly to the dedicated bag drop desk.
  • We encourage passengers to regularly check the flight information screens for their terminal and departure gate and ensure that they are at the gate in plenty of time to board their flight. Please note that the journey to the aircraft will be by bus.
