Make sure you spend some time in the Old Town of Kotor. Make a stop at St. Tryphon Cathedral and Maritime Museum. See if you can catch the cappella group who sing regularly in the town square. Take a stroll by the marina and enjoy a boat ride around Kotor Bay.

Don’t miss out on Cetinje, the historical capital of Montenegro, where you can visit King Nikola’s house and if you’re lucky enjoy a traditional Montenegrin dance performance in the open air amphitheatre. Take the scenic serpentine road and head towards Lovcen National Park, which is located in rocky region of Dinara Alps.

If you’re a sun seeker and looking for some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean start at Budva and take your pick from 17 unspoiled naturally beaches.

Top Tip

Visit Porto Montenegro, a vibrant marina-side village. Feast your eyes on the luxury yachts moored on this scenic stretch of the Adriatic, enjoy window-shopping at the high-end boutiques and savour a bite to eat in one of the many buzzing bistros.
